Meeting Erika & Michael at a small French brassiere in Manhattan for the first time was like meeting old friends I hadn't seen in years—but in winter wonderland. Erika and I were going back and forth weeks prior and I had been anticipating snow and was SO excited when I stepped out that morning.

They got ready at John's parents house near the Bayfront, hiding from each other throughout the morning. It was a destination wedding for a lot of their family (traveling from CA) and they got to see the city lit up for Night of Lights and drink cocktails at our one and only distillery.

I have been moving Sarah Annay Photography slowly but surely to working the summer and fall months in Burlington, Vermont, where both my life and love affair with photography began. I had the opportunity to shoot Macey & Matt's wedding on September 3, 2016 and it was one for the books.
Read MoreBryn & Jarrod's wedding is one I will always remember. My first Miami adventure and it was spent with two awesome families that welcomed me like I was one of their own.
Bryn & Jarrod had their first look at Vizcaya Gardens, one of Miami's hottest (no pun intended) venues. And guess what? A huge storm rolled in. We waited it out in the gift shop and I am so glad we did. The rain stopped 15 minutes before closing time and because the storm scared everyone else away (it's rare to see this garden empty)—we were the only ones outside! The sun appeared in the gardens right as we were wrapping up and it's the most beautiful light I have seen this spring.

We shot on an overcast Sunday which cast some of my favorite light, especially with the awesome abandoned house on the hill as our backdrop. These two will be wed in August in the middle of the woods at a Boys Summer Camp—it's going to be amazing. <3
Read MoreCait & Matt were married at Bowing Oaks in Jacksonville on May 15, 2016. Matt's dad married them under an oak tree in the late afternoon sun and it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've seen. The Posey's are a family of musicians and there was strumming, singing and praise the entire evening. Not to mention an amazing vintage pick-up parked outside as a Polaroid photo-booth backdrop for guests. Thrown in the back of the truck? Bags packed for California—Cait and Matt headed on a road trip out west the following morning.

It was my first time shooting in the new and improved Prince of Peace Church (with an amazing bridal room, by the way), a unique "first touch" idea (Angela surprised Eric with a guitar he has always wanted right before the ceremony), and a beautiful reception at The Fountain of Youth—not to mention TACOS from TacoLu. You know how I feel about tacos.
Read MoreI am so excited to share a few photos from Cait & Matt's engagement session—they also chose two of my favorite places in St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra, Mission Nobre de Dios and Guana Reserve.

Was super stoked when Natalie Stoppelli Canty (Owner of Parlor Room) & Julie Stoppelli (Owner of DOS Coffee & Wine) asked me to shoot a stylized shoot promoting St. Augustine's newest wedding and event venue. I cannot wait to see this venue open right behind DOS in December 2016. A beautiful industrial building with handcrafted farmhouse tables. It's exactly what St. Augustine needs.
Read MoreI was not available for Oriana & Chad's wedding this past December—and was surprised (and excited!) to hear back from them a month later, saying that they were happy with their ceremony photos but really wanted a session with me for creative portraits. I had to post some of these images— not only because I am missing the night of lights magic but because her dress was killer and deserves some recognition.
