I know winter is ending (thank God, right?) but now that Kelsey & Jackson’s save-the-dates are out in the universe I had to share their awesome engagement from December. I have known these two for over half of my life and I am SO excited to be IN their wedding in February, not shooting it. But of course, I had to photograph my best friend before her big day. I’ll never forget how much fun (and how cold) this day was.

Nancy does not consider herself to be ultra-fem—particularly working in the male-dominated sector of city government—but there are pieces of "her" spread around her beautiful home in downtown St. Augustine. She is an art collector (her original Sally Man prints always catch my eye!) and for those who haven't been graciously hosted at her home, she has a wall of wine glasses to choose from, each with a story. I have always felt welcome, as her neighbor and friend, and am excited to share with you a more intimate view of this incredible home and woman.

We hiked, scouted and eventually ended up next to a classic wooden boat and a beautiful sunset. I was not available for Oriana & Chad's wedding this past December—and was surprised (and excited!) to hear back from them a month later, saying that they were happy with their ceremony photos but really wanted a session with me for creative portraits.
