Tara & Emma chose a destination close to heart for their wedding—they have been visiting St. Augustine for years and wanted to share this special city with everyone on their list (mostly from NY and NJ).

Their wedding was perfect. They rented a big ol' house on Saint Augustine Beach (on 1st Lane—one of the best rentals around) and were married at the White Room's rooftop right before sunset. I am so thankful to have met these two women and their awesome families. Their bridal party was full of nieces and nephews and their energy made the group shots really come to life!
Thanks to all the amazing vendors who made these two brides look awesome and rock out the whole day.

We have since became friends, as Brooke yelled as I was packing up our gear at the end of the night, "Sarah, we can hang out now!" I am so happy for the both of them and for not once complaining about the blanket of humidity that hung over us as we took portraits on Charlotte Street. They turned out gorgeous.

Five days before Christmas, Angela and Eric brought their two families together (from DC, California and beyond) to celebrate their wedding overlooking the city on The White Room rooftop. It was an unbelievably gorgeous day—the sun heating up the early afternoon and then the clouds rolled in at the perfect time for the ceremony so no one was squinting on the rooftop.
Read MoreI look back at 2014 with a surreal sense of growth. Only one year ago, I was walking across the stage receiving two degrees from Flagler College with two years of experience as a photographer and photojournalist. After spending two months abroad in Southeast Asia, I came home with a lot of work ahead of me. It was my first year working as a full-time photographer— no more side jobs keeping me afloat— and I have to admit I was afraid.
