A Vermont summer: Family Portraits

Bolton Valley, about 20 minutes south of Burlington, is one of Vermont's best spots in the summer. The potholes run behind a long dirt access road, where people lounge, swim and sip on cans all summer long. Further up this road are some beautiful walking paths and wooden camps used by UVM. This is a great place for cliff jumpers, hikers and families. When Clarina (mom of these two beauties) told me she wanted to have a shoot here—I was excited. It was fun chasing them around the woods and my favorites (of course) turned out to be the candids. I am going to miss Vermont, the smell of the woods and moments like this.
