St. Augustine Wedding Photographer: Florida Wedding Photographer, Gay Wedding Photographer, Florida Gay Wedding: Dustyn & Scott

Dustyn & Scott made national headlines being one of the first gay couples to receive their marriage license on January 6, 2015 in Florida. They live in Waycross, Georgia but love Florida and come at least twice a month. When they first contacted me, Dustyn told me that a television producer approached them about being part of a television series/documentary about being a gay newlywed in the deep south. They would have their dream wedding paid for and have their lives filmed for a series of months. I was super excited about being part of this, but at the same time (and while talking to Dustyn) it seemed almost too good to be true and overwhelming to imagine their lives put on national television. 

So here we ended up on Saint Augustine beach with Rachel, "That Wedding Lady", on February 7, 2015. I have worked with Rachel a lot the last month and seen her marry a half dozen couples that were just waiting for EQUALITY to be here. And now it is! So Dustyn and Scott had their dream wedding in Saint Augustine, Florida, exploring the beautiful downtown for the first time and honeymooning in the Keys. It doesn't get much better than that and I was so happy to be part of it!
