St. Augustine Wedding: Tiffany & Ben Ward
...
I have to start with this story.
Last spring, when Ben, Tiffany and I met at the Mission Nombre de Dios we weren't exactly sure what was in mind for their engagement shoot. The weather was overcast. Ben carried a blanket with him. I knew reading scripture was something they did together often so they brought their bible and a few other books. After setting up a few minutes later in the grass— it was like I disappeared. I often say to couples: "Okay, pretend I am not here. I am going to grab some candids for awhile." But with Ben and Tiffany it didn't matter if I was there or not—they were already lost in their reading and each other. It turned out to be one of my favorite engagement sessions because everything with them felt so natural. So calm!
The day of the wedding, after taking some awesome shots of the bridal party at Flagler College (we're all graduates—wha hoo!), I asked Ben about this bench downtown. Tiffany insisted we grab one last photo there before heading to the reception at A1A Aleworks. I asked the importance of the bench.
"I told Tiffany I loved her there," he said.
"And what did she say?" I asked.
"She took out her journal and showed me the entry she wrote the day she knew she was in love with me," he said smiling.

Congratulations, Ben and Tiffany and here is a little sneak peak...
