St. Augustine Beach Family Shoot

You would never know these two just had a baby nearly 3-months ago when you enter their house. Music is playing softly in the background, their plants and herbs are thriving on the porch and their faces are full of happiness—not fatigue.

Amber and Nicki are power moms in my book and are blessed with one of the most peaceful babies I have ever met, Leilani. 

I love lifestyle shoots because it gives me an opportunity to hang with the family instead of "posing" them. It was easy getting Leilani to smile for the first half hour but after that, she went into complete sleep mode. Nothing is more peaceful—and cute!— than a sleeping baby.
