St. Augustine Wedding Photographer, Washington Oaks, Florida Wedding Photographer: Tannelle & Eric McDougle

Tannelle contacted me in late September asking if I was available for her November wedding. At that time she didn't even have her venue chosen yet. I was surprised until she told me her and fiancé Eric (now husband) had decided to change their plans and instead of having a big wedding a year from now, they wanted a small gathering in St. Augustine to celebrate with their family and closest friends. Even better—they quit their jobs and were heading off to explore Hawaii and New Zealand, without an exact date of return. I knew we were a great fit from the moment we had that conversation.

These two were awesome to photograph because the whole day I felt their excitement, for both love and their lives—not to mention, both of their families were incredibly welcoming to myself and my second photographer. After all, we were sharing a very intimate day with them!
