Dani & Jarrod, St. Augustine Wedding Photographer, Riverhouse Wedding
Dani & Jarrod’s St. Augustine wedding is one for the books. They planned their wedding for their families and friends (while keeping their style) and thought out every little detail—including margaritas as you walked into the ceremony.
Dani's dress was absolutely UNREAL and she rocked it. During the first look you could see how blown away Jarrod was. It was a really sweet moment for them.
For post-first look photos, we headed to The Collector Inn. It's one of our favorite, "new" old spots in the downtown area. Once upon a time, it was a grouping of historic buildings called Old St. Augustine Village- the owners of the Collector really transformed them into something beautiful, while preserving the integrity and history of the location.
The Ketubah signing took place at the Congregation Sons of Israel, and even though it’s under restoration since Hurricane Matthew hit last October (and now once again by Irma) the space was full of love and the stained glass provided a beautiful backdrop.
A word from the bride, "My wedding was truly one of the best days of my life. It was crazy to see friends from different parts of our lives join together with family to celebrate our marriage. While I loved absolutely everything about our wedding, what I loved most was the work Jarrod and I put into it to make the day reflective of us and our personalities. And more important than the work we did was that we did it together, it made the day all the more meaningful to us. We are not the most "serious" people, so finding ways to insert humor into our wedding was very important to us. I loved our taco room during the cocktail hour, our beer place cards featuring our dog in a blonde wig, our pancake-cake topped with bacon, and our amazing, hilarious, and thoughtful Rabbi who captured the essence of our love in our very meaningful ceremony. The entire night was very "Jarrod and Dani" and we wouldn't change a thing about it!"
